These 2 golden verses are an excerpt from Part 2 of the poem 赠友人三首 by Tang poet Li Bai (李白). The entire poem consists of 260 characters in 3 parts. These verses advise us to treasure friendship because it is more valuable than gold and money. It is a great piece of calligraphy to gift to your good friend.

In this piece, Mr Lim uses strong, bold strokes but with just enough ink to create the semi-dry brush effect. The lively characters seem to be dancing in motion, created by the whiskers effect at the end of each stroke.
